Guest Speaker

Our thanks to Annie Jeffrey who will be speaking about Creativity and Creation at our 9:30am Morning Praise service at our Morning Praise service on Sunday morning; Annie is the founder/director of hARTHampshire Art for Recreation and Therapy, a charity that helps to change the lives of adults and children with mental health and wider social issues.

Through creative therapy and a range of professionally structured activities, hART can help people feel better, build their confidence and allow their self-expression to shine through.

One of Annie’s roles is to link up local organisations so that they pool their knowledge and services.

Ordinary people helping others

A series of Tuesday evening talks in All Saints Church Hall, Hordle, from 7:30pm with refreshments. All welcome, admission is free.

Meditation Group

The meditation group comes together monthly and our next session will continue on Monday 12th March at 2:30pm in the Lady Chapel. We aim to have a theme for quiet reflection and some peaceful music: everyone is welcome to join us.

Sharing Scripture through Lent

Sharing Scripture continues at 11am on Wednesdays through Lent: the 21st and 28th February, the 7th, 14th and 21st March, covering a variety of topics on a Lenten theme

Pennington Poppets

A new toddler and carer group, Pennington Poppets, will be meeting at the St Mark’s Community Hall on the 2nd and 4th Thursday of each month 9.00-11:00am. (term time only).  Adults £1.50, Children free.  Please invite friends and neighbours with pre-school children.

Ways to give to St Marks

A reminder that we have St Mark Collection Boxes available at the back of Church. Why not take one home fill with odd change to bring back on our Patronal Festival Sunday April 22nd.

The Jack Wills Charity Walk

Our thanks to all who donated to Jack’s cause towards Naomi House, Piam Brown Ward and Clic Sargent through the sponsorship form circulated in church over the past two weeks. Jack, aged 4 has sadly been diagnosed with a Grade 3 brain tumour that is inoperable.

Fairtraide Feast
