I really enjoyed the 2 baptisms that took place on the first Sunday in May. The children seemed happy to play in the children's area and were very good! The talk in the middle of the service was very interesting. Alex kept us guessing as to what the message was to be. Getting the baptism families up front for a photo shoot was quite a feat but when we were asked the question 'Who is missing?' we got the message - God is present at the baptism. And Alex chose the man - who played the part admirably - even down to his name Dominic - belonging to God!
What a happy celebration.

As I see no entries for February I will add a comment. Round the back of the church is a magnificent display of crocus and some snowdrops. Roy mentioned this to me and I finally got round there yesterday to see this wonderful dispslay of colour. Do have a look. It may be easier and drier if approached via the Wainsford Road gate

I used to play the organ at St Marks up to 1996. If you're ever short of an organist, feel free to ask me!

Well done, like the 'new' web site. Very useful source of information. The Stop Press especially good as I was about to don my walking boots to go to St Marks for morning prayer, only to learn it was the following day. Time now to feed the birds!

A good web site and excellent way to keep in touch with events. The stop press this morning particularly useful as I was about to don my winter boots to walk up to St Marks for morning prayer, see you Wednesday!

Well, I can't really comment on our website, as (with a lot of help from Helen!) I put it together! However, I do want to encourage you to give some feedback. Tell us what you like, what you don't like, and any additions you'd like us to make.

Thank you!

This is a lovely web site. May I suggest that you add your post code on the addresses so that visitors to the site can use google map to locate you.
Thank-you

Like the "new" web site very much. How about having some details about the choir in the "Get involved" section?

Could we have an electronic version of the parish magazine?

And how about having a link to this year's lectionary?

Congratulations St Marks Church on your new web site - it looks great and hopefully we enable you to reach out to more people within the parish.
